Traveler
Traveler is an app to guide travelers through their entire flight experience, from their arrival at the airport to the moment they exit the plane.
This project is a work in progress. I will update the page with new work when I am able!
Please stay tuned for the final!
The Problem
Airport travel can be stressful at the best of times. Experienced flyers may know the tips and tricks to best get around their home airport, but will be just as lost as a first time flyer in a new airport.
How might we make unfamiliar airports familiar even to newcomers?
User Journey Map
Insights
Travelers experience most stress surrounding preflight activities like check in and security.
Stress is lowest while on the flight, but creeps back up again when deplaning, especially when the traveler does not already have transportation arranged.
Conclusion: users should receive most assistance during the pre-boarding experience, as this is the area with the most variable information.

Features:
Electronic boarding pass; also display at-a-glance flight information
Step-by-step tips for check in, security, terminal/gate, boarding, etc.
Gives heads-up notification if some step along the way will be impeded
After departing, app helps users navigate the new airport with tips for baggage, customs, and ground security .
Revisions:
Priority should be the checklist, because it gives the most comprehensive overview
Ticket information can be on a separate screen but should be easily accessible for quick checking.
